How do I apply to a bootcamp or residency?+
Send your portfolio link, a 200-word statement and the cohort you're targeting through our contact form. Bootcamps run quarterly; residencies are annual.
Do I need to be based in Lagos?+
Not for application. For programs, you'll need to be in Lagos for the duration — we coordinate lodging at our partner venues for residencies.
Is there a fee?+
Bootcamps have a tuition fee with scholarships available. Residencies are application-only and come with a stipend rather than a fee.
What does my venue need to host a Soundscape studio?+
Spare floor space, quiet neighbours, dedicated power, and an operations team willing to share scheduling. We handle the build-out.
Can a brand book the whole ecosystem?+
Yes — that's exactly what Activa8 is for. One brief covering venue, talent, content, DJ network and signature events.
Do you sign artists to a label?+
We are not a label. We are a development and distribution partner. Residency outputs are co-owned per the program agreement.
Can I just book a DJ?+
Yes. The DJ Distribution Network handles single-city bookings, multi-city pushes and full tour support.
Where can I see upcoming dates?+
The Calendar page is the source of truth — programs, signature nights, SoundX cohorts and campus tour dates.
